Animation-Interactivity Midterm (Dovahkiin)

Having trouble seeing the video? Click on "Youtube" under the video to watch it at youtube.com

Using characters that I uploaded previously, I created an animation for my animation-interactivity course this semester. It is none other than the famous dovahkiin character from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim video game. In this short animation, the character "fights" a dragon that he encounters on his journey.

Unfortunately, I didn't get as far as I would have liked to for this project. I had to cut down the animation to meet the deadline, and that's what I did. But, that's animation for you, eh?
Anyways, my instructor for this course has said that we might be able to expand on this project with more movement and depth of the characters for the upcoming final in May 2012. And I hope to do just that if the interactivity part of the course isn't as interesting for me.

Digital Audio - Project 6 (Final)

Screen to small? Click "Youtube" to be redirected and watch on Youtube.

The final for my digital audio class (Fall 2011) is here... and ahead of schedule! I poured my blood, sweat, and tears into this project and enjoyed every bit of it. All the sound effects heard in this video (aside from the background chorus) were captured, created, altered, and synced to the selected video by myself.

The selected video itself belongs to EA Games, BioWare, and/or Lucas Arts, respectively. I do not claim the selected video as my own creation, but the sound effects were created by myself and I do claim the rights to them.

You may have access to my sound effects library if you receive permission from the creator (myself) and if my sound effects are to be used for non-commercial use only. Commercial use will not be prohibited, unless otherwise specified by the creator.

Enjoy!

Digital Audio - Project 5 (Midterm)

The fifth project for intro to digital audio. Had to create several different sound effects to create a 3-dimensional atmosphere and match it to a preselected video.
The video is not mine, it is from the Star Wars Saga (Episode III), but all sound effects heard in this short film, were all created by myself. It took over 5 hours to create all these sounds and another 8 hours to sync the sound effects with the video clip almost perfectly. All of that work for a 1 minute film clip.
Ending on that note, I'd like to thank all sound designers for all their unrecognized work that we take for granted in film-making and television. I salute them.

Digital Audio - Project 4

Fourth project for intro to digital audio. Had to create a 3-dimensional atmosphere with 5 different voices all originating from my own voice.

Digital Audio - Project 3

Third project for intro to digital audio. Needed to create a 3-dimensional atmosphere using 10 or more different sounds.

Digital Audio - Project 2

Second project for intro to digital audio. Had to create a chain of events to sync together so that it appears to be all one take.

Digital Audio - Project 1

First project of intro to digital audio. Needed to create a simple conversation/sync voices together.
